The event celebrated the collaborative efforts that strengthen our communities and was highlighted by the announcement of a $400,000 grant awarded to Beyond Shelter Inc. through the Member Impact Fund from Federal Home Loan Bank Des Moines. What is the Member Impact Fund? The 2024 Member Impact Fund, supported by the Federal Home Loan Bank Des Moines, is a matching grant program that bolsters community development by encouraging partnerships between nonprofit organizations and financial institutions. This impactful program provides additional funding to support affordable housing and community development initiatives, ensuring vital projects have the resources to make a lasting impact in the regions they serve. This year, Beyond Shelter Inc. was selected to receive a $400,000 grant, thanks in part to Wells Fargo’s sponsorship and commitment to affordable housing.
