Owatonna, MN — November 6, 2025 — The MetroPlains Management Foundation, in partnership with LWO Properties and Development, proudly presented a donation to the Lighthouse of Southern Minnesota in support of their mission to provide safe housing, recovery programs, and supportive services to individuals working toward stability and healing.

MetroPlains Management, which oversees several affordable housing communities in Owatonna and the surrounding area, is committed to strengthening the communities it serves through meaningful partnerships and charitable giving. This donation reflects the organization’s continued support of local agencies that provide vital resources to individuals and families in need.

Lighthouse of Southern Minnesota provides trauma-informed residential programming, counseling, and housing support for individuals in recovery, with a focus on creating safe spaces for both men and women to rebuild their lives.

The MetroPlains Management Foundation partners with local organizations to build stronger communities through charitable giving, housing initiatives, and community engagement.

LWO Properties and Development provides quality, affordable housing and supports local nonprofits that improve the lives of residents across Minnesota and the Midwest.
