Bobby’s creativity and forward-thinking strategies have consistently propelled MetroPlains Management’s marketing efforts to new heights. His work exemplifies the innovation and passion we value so deeply. Honoring Our Nominees We’d also like to recognize two incredible team members, Sarah Bennett (Human Resources & Payroll Manager) and Karla Heinrich (Executive Administrative Assistant), who were among the nominees representing MetroPlains Management at the banquet. While they didn’t take home awards this time, their contributions and dedication make them champions in our hearts every single day. MetroPlains Management Celebrates Beyond Shelter Inc.'s $400,000 Member Impact Fund Grant10/29/2024 MetroPlains Management was honored to attend a recent event hosted by Beyond Shelter Inc. at The Milton Earl in downtown Fargo, one of our proudly managed properties. The event celebrated the collaborative efforts that strengthen our communities and was highlighted by the announcement of a $400,000 grant awarded to Beyond Shelter Inc. through the Member Impact Fund from Federal Home Loan Bank Des Moines. What is the Member Impact Fund? The 2024 Member Impact Fund, supported by the Federal Home Loan Bank Des Moines, is a matching grant program that bolsters community development by encouraging partnerships between nonprofit organizations and financial institutions. This impactful program provides additional funding to support affordable housing and community development initiatives, ensuring vital projects have the resources to make a lasting impact in the regions they serve. This year, Beyond Shelter Inc. was selected to receive a $400,000 grant, thanks in part to Wells Fargo’s sponsorship and commitment to affordable housing. Beyond Shelter Inc. will use the funding to continue its vital work in developing affordable housing solutions, not only in Fargo but also in surrounding areas as well. This grant represents an invaluable step forward in creating and sustaining housing options that are both accessible and high-quality, particularly in communities facing housing shortages.
